Member Council
The ICS Member Council is a formal structure for member participation in the governance of the organization. The Member Council, consisting of no more than 20 people, meets quarterly. The objectives of the Member Council are to:
- Provide information and feedback to senior management staff about the effectiveness of ICS services and the experience of being an ICS member.
- Provide information to Members about organizational plans, policies and procedures including their rationale.
- Provide a format for members and senior managers to discuss and to problem-solve operational issues.
- Provide a formal mechanism for informing the Board of Directors about Member’s concerns.
